Photo taken by Serene on a Canon D40X
Right, so nobody believes that I'm a freshie.Actually, I think that somewhat applies to all the DPA students. Monday & Tuesdays were spent with Serene at Ourspace@72 taking photos of people for a
face montage on "Our Face Board" at the entrance. Many others from DPA helped out too. The process was fun, although at the start we were somewhat tempted to document the process instead of seeking approval from people we didn't know to take photos of them.
Armed with two Canon D40X and two Canon Selphy Printers, we were kinda stationed there from 9am-5pm. I went to the convention centre to check out the CCA Fiesta too after i reached on Monday. We didn't really get approached because we didn't look like freshmen. Signed up for
NRA (talk about eagerness, my name's the first-.-), and Melvin pulled me to the
DS booth.

i kinda like this photo. HAHAHA.
I brought my Macbook to school today so as to keep a copy of the photos taken on both days. Therefore, I have most of the pictures! Decided to dedicate my very own small face montage of the people who actually daringly posed for a photo alone (:

Heh, pretty nice, ain't it! :D I have to talk about the last guy in the above montage. Hahahhaa. I was trying to get people to take photos, so i stood at the exit of the
Prestige Card Collection Queue. I got rejected countless times, but yet there are some really really nice and enthu people. Michelle and I used methods like "This photo will appear on your Prestige Card" and all but I decided it wasn't very nice. HAHAHA.
-Scenario-
"Hi, would you like to have your photo taken? Please say yes."
(juu says it all within a couple of seconds and then proceeds to lift cam up to eye-level and starts adjusting focus)Just as I was about to snap the photo, he replied (really quietly).
"yes."AHHHHHHHHHHH!! super cute, yet super hilarious can! I'm very sorry the photo turned out that way though :x I took pretty darn long to take the photo cause i was shaking from trying not to laugh.
Faith got more people down to help today, and thus we met Umar and Debra.

Hello, Umar (Scrabble Face)

Hello, Debra (from Volleyball!)

Most of the crowd turned up on Monday so today was pretty much more relaxing. Alvin (Sai-Ling -__-) from SU came over to our side to entertain himself when it got boring -.-

The whole time, I've got my favourite girls, yo (:

This is one side of the boards at blk72 around noon today. Go see the completed boards if you can!
To end this very image-heavy post, here's a very cute picture of Serene & Ali!

Sidenote: Today is a happy day! I can just feel the joy when they shared me stories about how today could be one of the happiest days of their lifes. I'm genuinely happy for you two, Ros & Dee!
Typing this, I feel that I should start to appreciate the things I have more, and feel happy about them. I didn't blog about this but on Sunday i visited the
Arcade, went
bowling and
watched Rule #1 with boyf. I know things are rough and all for you but thank you for coming out and actually giving in and watching the show just for my sake. ILY!<3

So maybe, just maybe. I'll be happy in school tomorrow. It's my first day of school, officially.
